THE GROWER
Founded in 1989 in Avize, Waris-Larmandier brings together a long family winegrowing history and a contemporary approach to Champagne. Since 2000, Marie-Hélène has carried the house forward with her three children, Jean-Philippe, Pierre-Louis and Inès, who represent the sixth generation of growers.
Jean-Philippe has championed the move towards biodynamics, adding a new dimension to the family’s vineyard work. Alongside the wines themselves, the portfolio emphasises the importance of direct, lasting relationships with the people who discover them. Traditional knowledge, care for the soils and a shared family identity shape the house’s continuing work.
