Le Due Terre
A family estate in Prepotto, rooted in clay and marl soils, with indigenous yeasts, extended skin contact and a particular commitment to red wines.

THE GROWER
Le Due Terre began in 1984, when Flavio Basilicata and Silvana Forte bought land in Prepotto. In a region strongly associated with white wines, they chose to focus mainly on reds. Their daughter Cora now works alongside them, continuing a family approach based on environmental care and limited intervention.
The vines grow on clay and marl soils, without synthetic herbicides or fertilisers. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel or concrete, using indigenous yeasts. Extended skin contact also shapes the whites. Avoiding fining and winemaking additives allows the family to keep the character of the site at the centre of their small production.
