A family estate devoted to Teroldego, biodynamic farming and agricultural diversity at the foot of the Dolomites.
THE GROWER
Founded in 1901 and in the Foradori family since 1939, the estate lies in Mezzolombardo, in the heart of Campo Rotaliano beneath the Dolomites. Biodynamic farming began in 2002. Elisabetta Foradori and Rainer Zierock’s work has been central to preserving and regenerating the genetic diversity of the local Teroldego grape through its original genotypes.
Today their children Emilio, Theo and Myrtha Zierock continue the family’s work. Winegrowing forms part of a wider agricultural system that also includes vegetables and Tyrolean Grey cattle for cheese production. Care for the land, respect for natural rhythms and patience through the wine’s evolution connect these activities across the estate.
