Bernard-Bonin
Old-vine Chardonnay, organic and biodynamic methods, and attentive cellar work in Meursault.

THE GROWER
Nicolas Bernard and Véronique Bonin have run Domaine Bernard-Bonin in Meursault since 1998. The estate brings together nine hectares of family vineyards in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune, with a focus on Chardonnay from old vines.
Organic and biodynamic methods underpin the work in the vineyards. A minimal approach in the cellar continues that philosophy, seeking wines whose freshness, complexity and mineral character convey their origins. The small scale of the estate allows the couple to concentrate on the character of the fruit and the expression of each site, with limited production rooted in the family’s holdings.
