THE GROWER
Stella Binaria is Sofia and Simone’s artisanal wine project in Castelnuovo dell’Abate, a hamlet of Montalcino. Their Sangiovese vines grow opposite the Abbey of Sant’Antimo, within one of Tuscany’s distinctive vineyard landscapes.
The name refers to a binary star system, two stars exchanging light and matter. It gives an image to their shared project, grounded in attentive, artisanal agriculture. Biodynamic principles guide the cultivation of the vineyards and the way they care for the land.
