THE GROWER

The Bressan family’s winegrowing history in Farra d’Isonzo dates to 1726. Their approach centres on a long continuity of experience and on allowing the wine’s transformations to follow their own pace.

Fermentation begins spontaneously with the wild yeasts naturally present on the grapes. Rather than forcing the process towards a uniform result, the family follows each wine through its development and ageing. The winemaker’s role is one of patient observation and considered decisions about timing and method. Traditional cellar knowledge remains central, with the aim of preserving the individuality of the wine and its connection to Friuli Venezia Giulia.
